Description
This is a photo of the Popocatepetl Volcano and the church over the great pyramid of Cholula which are all located in the State of Puebla, Mexico. A truly magical and beautiful place.

Wow, oh my gosh that is gorgeous. I love the way the what appears to be golden hour sun is lighting up the Church, giving it a magical glow. It gives such a warm contrast to the cold slate gray volcanoe, which is a bit ironic given the real heat of that spot and what would probably be a cool church site. I love how the trees frame the scence and how their pyramidal shape compliments that of the volcanoe. This is a beautiful capture, the old cliche of being in the right place at the right time certainly works here.
