Description
This is one of two fantasy late cold war jet fighter designs. Both are based on drawings I did as a teenager decades ago at about the the time they were meant to be in service. It can easily be seen that the West German design was made from combining features from the British Jaguar and American F-16. The illustration was created by modifying models found in the SketchUp 3D Warehouse by "Special_Boy" and "Mandun" in Rhino and then using CorelDraw to create the various camouflage schemes and add various markings.

Nice work on this and your previous Spoyan designs. I was in high school when we entered the shortlived era of Detente. I use to draw the US fighters, bombers and ballistic missiles from the 60s, 70s. Then I came up with lots of future concepts that never came about including some pretty ridiculous ones. This image brought back those memories. My view then was that the cold war would go on indefinitely or result in WW-III. I didn't expect the fall of the Soviet Union. My future designs were mainly for an indefinite scenario.
