The Art of Boolean (PartXVI)
The final render of Mars Explorer1 as it nears the red planet for rendezvous with the USS Essex. I am currently working on an orbiting space station called the USS Cydonia that will be the staging platform for transfer to the surface of Mars. I hope the first of these images will be ready in the near future. All models were created in Bryce 5 from scratch. Post work starfield was created in Universe; everything else

Thats very nice. Love the ship. Excellent job.
Some of the most amazing modeling from any program I've ever seen. You have a great talent. Simply incredible.
Uhhh, Mars seems to have a REALLY big canyon--I don't think it is Valles though... ;')
Excellent work and detail as usual.
Shayhurs, you tell me sense this is an actual picture of the planet. I did not embellish on the image of Mars, this was taken from JPL/NASA site as is. I hope this helps, David ;-)
Were the engines modeled in bryce as well? They look to be a little polygonal to me. Not knocking your image at all. This is your best work in my opinion. Just checking on the pure bryceness that you seem to take pride in. (that came off a little snobby sounded. No snobbiness was intended).
Yes the engines were also modeled in Bryce. ;-)
This is cool... Looks like it should be in a book somewhere. Just curious, but have your images actually been published?
I've said it on Bryce5.net and I'll say it here.. that is some of the best modelling I've seen that is native Bryce.. and its nice to see someone else believing in its abilites to make complex objects... excellent work!
What is left to say....I bow to the Master!!!
Simply put - WOW!
Amazing detail. Wonderful job. I can hear Strauss' Blue Danube as I look at it.
Aye, awesome work and planning in Bryce! The planetoid's ambience is off, though... a quick fix in Photoshop might do the trick.
