This is an interesting capture, it's amazing where that can appear.
Nice find on the post girl.
Like Mark points out, they seem to grow anywhere with vigor.
Lovely textures Andrea.
They grow everywhere. x
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Such tough plants aren't they? A great find and shot!
Like golden encrusted jewellry
GREAT SHOT
Great capture Andrea Lichen this shot
Wonderful! I love seeing lichens, and these seem quite happy. I do hope they don't decide to repaint!
G'laud, get a load of that lichen, girding itself around the side of the lamp post, which appears somewhat similar in construction to the conning tower of a submarine.
They probably thought the lamppost just needed a bit of decoration. Mission accomplished. Much more interesting this way. A lovely find.
Now that is a GREAT find, my favourite of the lichens! What a beautiful collar this post has acquired!
gorgeous!! or maybe the lichen are desperate nowadays?
That's a real super collection in your lamppost garden.
What a beautiful display! Mother Nature has the ability to decorate even the lowliest and ugliest of modern man made things!
An excellent zoom and I like the peeling paint over on FlickR!
