Great Andrea. I never get tired of seeing beach scenes.
A lovely capture of the rolling tide, I dare not go up the front here, the term "Cruel Sea" is very apt over the past few days of high tides and what not, people are in danger of losing their lives to get that magical shot and become reckless in the process, I do suspect it's already happened where people are washed out to sea. It can be as cruel and ugly as it can be beautiful at times and needs so much respect and understanding.
Very nicely done Andrea.
Superb capture and dedication Andrea. God bless.
Fabulous waves ans shot, Andrea. Beautiful dedi for your friend :) Happy Birthday Dana.
A lovely birthday dedi. Happy birthday Dana. X
I love the five elements here the sky, the waves the flat water the wet sand the dry (of sorts) sand Great dedication
Wonderful image! Happy Birthday to Dana! :)
great dedi and shot!! Happy Birthday, Dana and many happy returns!! lovely soothing seascape... !! :-) recall when we were sent out of Par (in Cornwall) harbour, -in a former life-, cuz our ship was about to smash the quay. already lost our gangway, so Tur & I had to jump on board (I came back just on time, had been at the local photographer's shop -of course-). windforce 12 and all smoke was going down. ;-) we have sailed 'upside down' on many occassions, but the most cruel piece of water is the Irish sea. even worse than the Biscaya.
Forget the "Rule of Thirds". How about the rule of sixes? A real stunner of an image. The colors are gorgeous.
Stunning shot, Andrea; bet it was a bit chilly, eh?
Wonderful variety of striations in this chilly beach pic, A.
do make a cool design
Brilliant shot you caught the light just right.
so many layers in one pic! what a perfect pic!
Beautiful! All the blues, the light, the repetition, the sound of the waves ... just wonderful. :)
besides the shades of blues and grays and the marvelous layers, there's the awesome textures, and then picture itself is marvelous!
I like all five layers from the sand, sea foam, waves, open ocean and sky. I know that Dana II will love it!
Super surf and sand layering. The mood captured is fantastic, showing off the calm of the sand and sky compared to the chaotic sea. Thank you dear Andrea
