Description
We received a beautiful fluffy snow last night...about 9 inches or so. Hard to determine the exact depth since there was so much blowing and drifting. Anyway, decided to go out and get some captures before things got too messed up with salt, etc.
These are shots of the Gardens in Forest Hills, NY...I live about 1 block from this area. For those tennis enthusiasts, Forest Hills used to be where the US Open was held--now it's held up the road a bit in Flushing--thank goodness. Homes in the Gardens go for the 7/8 figure amounts--just a little more than I can afford ATM, LOL
As you can see, it is a beautiful sunny day...cold though, about 14 degrees Fahrenheit. My kinda day :)

It's a lovely set of scenes Barb. I especially like the first one as it is similar to what I've had to deal with up here in Ontario. Alas, we've been in deep cold for the last week with a little bit of snow. It got so cold that my outdoor Christmas lights (which are all LED) took five seconds to turn on after I turned the switch. I've never seen anything like it before and I'm not sure if it was caused by the wiring or the crystals in the LEDs. Happy New Year!
