Description
you may wonder why I post this on New years? this is where new buildings start. new what ever trees do. yes the trees have to grow to 18 years for paper use and 30 or 33 years to be use for lumber. These look like they are 30 or more years.
The small trees up front looks to be young trees for paper.
They all is pine trees here
anyway happy New years to all

Coool
Excellent work and perfect realisation
Terrific lighting, detail and perspective in this shot, Jock. I didn't know they grew trees like that in your neck of the woods. Happy New Year to you, too!
A cool capture, Jock! And a Happy New Year to you and yours, my friend! :-D
I've seen clear cut lumbering around here, and it's a sad sight to see. They do replant, but it takes a long time to regrow a forest. a great capture Jock, something a lot of folk never see. Those two by fours don't just happen in a factory, they start right here, in a logging operation
Happy New Year! I will see these trees at Home Depot in the not too distant future.
A wonderful image of these loggers.
Wonderful capture and motif, Jock. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Nice shot - and a Happy New Year to you too!
That is the loveliest logging truck image I have seen--and I am not a fan of the trucks, like RIchardphotos I have had to dodge them when I lived in Idaho, they are right up there with pizza guys for crazy driving. But this is just idyllic!
Great capture Jock and interesting information. Happy New Year to you!
