Description
This is a most amazing structure. It spans the Sacramento River in Redding, California and is a pedestrian only walkway. I'll let you check Wikipedia for more info as far as the engineering and building go, just too much info to try and fit into this space. We walked under it but not on it, because dogs aren't allowed and we had two of em!! That's ok, we walked a ways downstream, saw a white squirrel (nope, the fotos came out all blurry!! lol), a couple of kayakers, birds of all kinds. A great way to spend Christmas afternoon.

Well, that is most unusual. I hope it is at the correct angle for the latitude in which it sits, then it could work very well as a timepiece.

That is a super capture and that is a huge for a pedestrian walkway but better safe than.........
