Thought I'd try a monochromatic treatment on this one. I believe it worked fairly well. Please zoom for better details.

The details are very good and I like the composition too, I think mono was a good choice it gives the bird more impact
His lovely velvety texture becomes so much more apparent in mono, and it really pops his eye. Beautiful shot!
