Description
A present from one of my Chinese girls, Qing, of Japanese Cookies which had to be eaten before Christmas(!)
She is off on a visit to Switzerland and then Paris for the holiday, meeting up with a friend from Norway. The young do foriegn travel like I do going to the shops!

Oh, you must save some of this lot for Santa Claus, after he's come down the chimney and distributed gifts around your tree, Andrea. And don't forget the requisite milk to go along with the cookies. And, where do the young get the money to go happily cavorting across the globe?
They look quite pretty, not sure about the taste, but maybe they will be a nice surprise. Travel for fun sounds nice. They must have affluent parents!
But Andrea, you neglected to tell us if they were tasty? They look tasty, and as my love my assorted teas, I think these would be a delight to the palate. Are they?

I don't think it would be a problem for me, to consume them all before Christmas ;P love almost anything sweet, but that reminds me - must lose some excess weight !!! somehow ... the green ones remind me of a present I received in the 70's - (unfortunately or fortunately it was only one (!) pink and one (!) green one) go figure ;)) fine food selection and present Andrea, I can almost taste the Shortbread, YUM ...
