Super shot; love the light.
A very appealing shot Alan. I saw you this morning with Sue. I was at the Roman Catholic church doing a funeral!
I noticed in a home improvement store this morning that they are selling Birch logs about 8 inches long with a wick for burning. one had the bark peeled off like it's distant cousin here very sharp focus
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Looks really a beauty click my friend!!!!!!Bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx Whylma. Merry Christmas to You!!!!
Always amazed me as a kid why they do this. Excellent shot.
Irresistible to peel and use as notepaper!
Fantastic Alan, I too couldn't resist the peel :) lovely colours and shot :)
Nicely caught.... I like!
Great shot ,just the sort of bark to give many happy hours peeling.
Great capture and very great picture !
I'm thinking there is some art that can be done on that peeled birch. Cool capture.
Nice shot. Great clarity. It always makes me think they spent too much time in the sun and got burnt. I saw some program a while back about Roman soldiers in Britain. They would take the birch bark, write messages to their families and send them home like post cards.
impressive capture of the stunning colored trunk! ;o)
It's a beautiful shot!
Well seen. Beautifully intense color in both the tree bark & sky. I used to see similar trees in Vermont which we called parchment birches...
super detail
WONDERFUL WORK!
Gorgeous shot! I love the colors, and that bark is wonderful.
A beautiful blue sky to show off the peeling birch bark! Excellent clarity!
