Description
I tried to recreate the room where I stayed for 2 years (with 3 other fellowes), in the 70's, when I was studying maths before entering my engineer school (If you succed in a kind of trial called" concours"). Of course, it was a mess worse than I can show here...
It was not a prison, just a kind of monastic room to work hard, sleep little and have good time... with no girls, because it was a kind of boarding school (but outside...)!
Exept little objects, all has been modeled in Blender (room, curtains, furniture...)and textured in Vue.
Trying Vue2014Infinite. Till now, I noticed some improvements in texturing and lighting.
Cheers!

I would have gone crazy being penned in with anyone for two years... but it does look comfortable. Splendid image!
Very well done... nice uniformity, color and very nice lighting. Excellent work!!!
Ah ha...In the Court of the Crimson King...I still have that on vinyl. Excellent job on this scene...nice attention to details!
Un joli travail de modélisation!
Fantastically well done ... Fabuous composition also !
Je serais incapable de me rappeler ma chambre dans les années 70. Très bien fait. (le rideau ?)
Indeed, there is a problem with the left curtain!...
Ok, I modified the transparency of this left curtain and it is better. Thanks to Illkirch!
Thank you for a look at your past. I would have been happy if my "student digs" would have so looked like. We were 8 girls!! Four double bunk beds, 8 narrow lockers, a large shelf and a huge table in the middle .... No wonder, that we forever to outside * LOL * (And pictures of half-naked women, we did also not .... * wink *) Really very good work. Something, with which you can identify .
Another missed one. There must have been an ebot problem during this time period. This looks like my daughters' rooms and they were the only occupants. Excellent recreation.
