Description
Whenever I see wildlife to photograph I seem to complain about the light. It's usually too dark to get a fast enough shutter speed to stop the subject movement. Not this day, the light was amazing! Taken at Leighton Moss reserve, as seen on BBC's Autumn Watch. The place is HUGE, a lot of walking but exciting to explore. We saw lots through binoculars (Including Otters) but too far away to photograph. This little drake was an exception.

These little guys are so handsome; we have a huge flock of them at my local waterpark. They seem to spend an inordinate amount of time with their heads underwater, though, pulling up edibles from the mud! Wonderful capture!
Yeah! Wetlands are a great place to wander around with a camera mate. A whole host of water birds and land based birds. Excellent details captured mate!
