Description
After several failed attempts on consecutive days I finally got a pic.
It was always too windy or too dull till today, and it still required me to trap two dog leads with my feet in order to hold both the camera and branch still...very tricky!

Tricky indeed but nice capture!
You have some wonderful pics of things, are they in your garden?
No they are on the green at the end of my road!
Oh that's a great shot it looks like an oak gall but I'm probably wrong ;)
Wonderful Oak galls Andrea. A perfect shot in my opinion.
Beautiful colours .
That's what it is, and an interesting curiosity of a capture.. nicely done under not exactly comfortable position.
If at first....and what a success! Brilliant
Nice capture! I really like the composition.
This would make a wonderful addition to the Google Images under Oak galls. Colorful and Interesting. Never knew they existed. :)
such good detail
Very cool and colourful image
More lichen/fungi from the forest surrounding Andrea's vast manor. It took a lot of gall to get close enough for this sterling macro.
Excellent shot Andrea!
I don't know, I get the overwhelming feeling of a collection of belly buttons. And they are all 'outies'. Really fine work especially considering the conditions under which it was taken.
Great shot - with a camera creativity is often needed! ;o)
I think we call these oak apples up north - great capture Andrea!
These are sure interesting love the photo u got of them.
I can picture the scene and you have managed it perfectly.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Quite interesting to see :)
Well done getting this! Half the time I just hand the leash to Bill and say, "Here ... YOU take her!" She jerks the lead at just the wrong time. I'd not thought of standing on the damned thing. Thanks for sharing the excellent pic, and the tip on "Photography with Dogs!"
This is a fantastic photo and zoom Andrea. Wonderful details!
superb !! I love the little ones
