Scotland, Glenfinnan, Loch Shiel
The Glenfinnan Monument (memorial tower surmounted by a statue of an anonymous Highlander in a kilt) situated here at Loch Shiel was erected in 1815 to mark the place where Prince Charles Edward Stuart ("Bonnie Prince Charlie") raised his standard, at the beginning of the 1745 Jacobite Rising.
And in this area Harry Potter scenes were filmed!

It's a beautiful location Rita and your capture does it well as for Harry Potter I haven't a clue who he is and it certainly doesn't sound Scottish ;) on a serious note I do love the picture and I love the Scottish mist seen so clearly here

A super photo Rita! I saw this on the train ride from Ft Williams out to Mallaig. I had intended to walk out there on the way back but the weather did not cooperate!
