sitting here thinking it was a vue render and was saying wow to realism of the landscape you did and how possible could you do it, then realizied it was a DAZ studio render with a photo as a background after reading your notes....., thinking of switching to DAZ? I knew you were a poser/vue user...anyways, well done....One small suggestion is to make a tiny Gaussian blur on the two characters I mean tiny...this way the blurriness will mistaken for a photo character than art characters and that will also match up the slight blurriness of the photo ...for as you know 3d characters have a sharp details of the objects than photo does. I have thought about moving to another software to do other than straight Vue...I have done Vue many years and sort of tired of it....
I'm just playing with DAZ Studio, I may make more renders in both DAZ Studio and Poser. For character renders Vue is not always the best solution. But I'm certainly not going to abandon Vue, just expanding my repertoire :)
Excellent done!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful work!
Nicely done.
Ein toller Render
Excellent blend and you matched the light on your figures perfectly!
I'm impressed by how their feet blend into the ground in a believable way. Must be some cloning postwork. Great looking render.
Excellent integration. The blend and light of the characters with the photos is great. I agree with kindredsoul too about the blur. I tiny bit seems to help blend it all together.
Great job!
