Description
One of the first posts I ever had at Rendo was an image of my first significant Enterprise model with a big cloud in the backdrop looking head on in a makeshift hanger model I did.
That was back in the Raydream days!
I decided to pull that old model out and update it a little bit. I replaced the old Enterprise model with my latest one, did the same with the shuttles and redid the entire gas nebula backdrop.
It came out interesting so I thought I'd post it. I'm working on a big project right now but this was quick and nice and came out worth posting.
Everything you see (models and all) made by me.

Ahhh...When I think back to the halcyon days of Raydream 4...an earth-shattering tool, at least for me. It pierced a barrier between newbs and 3-D graphics. Limited, but it opened a pathway to create some amazing stuff. A tradition that lives to this day. I got my RD Studio set for about $49.00 (mis-marked) and couldn't believe my good fortune or the store's stupidity! It ran on Windows ('95) and DOS 6. A 16 mega byte chip could render a single image in a couple of hours. Some of those images would stand up even now, I think. Thanks for the flashback!
