Description
It's difficult to know when the first ever abstract artwork was created because it may come down to the very month as opposed to the year and that is hard to confirm if works happen to be created in the same year. Some claim it was a watercolour and other say it was in oils.. I care slightly less on this debate and tended to go with Kandinsky's First Abstract Watercolour even though earlier pieces were created.. even Whistler in 1874 "Night in Black and Gold, The falling Rocket", could be considered a prime entry.
I felt inspired to start a series of digital abstract watercolours after enjoying those watercolours from Kandinsky. I hope they convey a more raw nature than many of the fractal and alternatively rendered works even the manually created pieces in Painter X3, I have been experimenting using the Leap Motion device and those pieces will be made available at a later date but for now these are the next step.
