Description
More effects from our vast local freeway widening project, captured 9/2/13, early AM, about .85 miles from home.
This particular site is about a mile from the one previously shown in my Making tracks #1 posting. In contrast to the talcum powder consistency of the dirt in that one, which revealed even the slightest of impressions, the soil in this one is comparatively hard, and can only be altered by the extreme weight and movement of the multi ton equipment used. I saw no footprints here, and I left none, as opposed to the many shown in Making tracks #1.
Oh, since these pics were taken on a Saturday, when there is no work being performed, I was free to walk upon the site with complete unrestricted impunity to take scads of unchallenged shots.
Do ZOOM.
