Description

Buster is in hospital tonight with a horrid high temperature and a probable infection. As he won't eat or drink he is on a antibiotic drip and one for fluids, and we expect him to be OK in the morning. He was ill on Sunday night with an allergic reaction either to a bone he had hidden and then dug up, or to something in the soil where he buried it! That was cleared up yesterday with a steroid jab, but the poor chap has felt really poorly all day, hence the overnight stay. Hopefully things will return to normal by morning. I love the different tracks various heights, weights and gaits leave in the sand, and I could bore you rigid with my 'tracks' folder!

What a cute image! From the color differentiation and the blurred paw print, I'm guessing he was headed for the water. My best wishes for Buster to be feeling better and coming back home in the morning right as rain!

I hope he feels better. He must be sick, because I know my boy never 'pretends'! He would only sit down and rest if he had a bullet in the guts or worse!!!!!!!!

Maybe he just stopped and looked back, to see if you followed him ? let's hope he will be alright, it's so sad when animals suffer in silence ... BB you would make a good Sherlock Andrea, with your track record, pardon the pun ! ;)) have you ever seen the modern-day take ? on the detective stories, with Jonny Lee Miller and co-starring Lucy Liu, she is redefining the role of Watson in forthcoming TV drama Elementary, as the first-ever female sidekick to Sherlock Holmes. One of my favs is actually with actor Robert Downey jr.

Nice capture of Buster's prints in the Durley Beach sand, as he hobbles off to the doggie hospital in order to receive medical care vis-a-vis his illness, Hope the poor little guy weathers the storm, with little or no after effects. And, Andrea, you show your tracks, and I'll show mine, several of which I posted today, and we'll see what develops.

Sic transit cane? It sounds like Buster has weathered the worst of it. I hope the little Scottish lad is back home soon. Hopefully he has learned not to eat everything that passes by his nose.

Hope he is better tomorrow! Interesting track shots, they're better than track and field shots.

My thoughts are with buster and you, maybe he picked up a slug or snail in the garden, sometimes they can make a dog poorly if they ingest one. My best wishes... nice capture too.

I saw the update on Buster, and I'm very happy he's doing better. I saw this too; and, though I'm just getting to it now, I wanted to send my best wishes for Buster's recovery. I know how other animals (in one's home) are effected when one of them is sick or away, etc: They pick up so much from each other, more than non pet-owners can believe. And no matter what anyone says, they're family, and you want the same life and health for them as you would for yourself. A great little picture, btw, so clean and minimal, and those stones really make the shot. I'll be back after months' end, and look forward to it. But for now, all my best to your dear Buster...I hope he comes through whole and healthy once more.

I'm with you on the tracks ... I can't resist 'em! Speed makes such a difference, too. This is great! I've already seen the update on Buster, being that I'm a bit behind. Good to know he's improving. :)

I hope Buster is better by now... Well composed... A very elegant image... I like the white pebble near one of the prints, smoothed by sand and water... Simple as it seems this picture, I recommand to zoom it!
