Description
I don't know any more about this car. Its from the East Coast and I don't know if the owner drove across the country or trucked it. According to the guys I was hanging out with (all of them had show cars themselves) the owner screwed up when he costumized the dash and put disk brakes on the car. According to them he ruined a potentially $ 200,000- 300,000 car.
The Duesenberg was at the car show at Glendale, Arizona. Temperature yesterday in Phoenix (Glendale) was 88F.
Picture was taken on 19 October 2013,

That is one wild looking car! Excellent shot!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Nice capture.
But it sure looks good! Great photo!
Nice looking car, a pity about the innards.
As long as he kept the original parts, everything could be restored so there should be no loss except in the minds of those trying to get it cheaper, LOL! I know they called it a whale tail but I always thought the comparison was pretty lame.
Screw ups or not... probably made it a better daily driver, and as long as he kept the original parts, then what the hey!. One seriously nice looking car... I'm not too proud to own it!
Still an impressive car

this is cool
This looks like an Auburn 852 Speedster, my favourite vintage car. The body shape really stands the test of time. Nationale7 has one for sale. I had to have it.
I have heard the name "Boat Tail" to describe Auburns. superb capture Sig
Sleek, fast, and RED!! Fantastic!! Send it up ... I'm wearing a shirt that's nearly that shade today. I'll drive it around for the guy. :P
