April 1942, Occupied Dutch Timor
"The Australians swam out to sea and were swallowed by a big fish..."
After spending two months broadcasting weather reports from the jungle and evading Japanese patrols, with assistance from the courageous Timorese, the ill and well-nigh skeletal RAAF rear party were evacuated in secret to Australia by the submarine USS Searaven.
