Description
This started as a test of Faveral's Provence set, I adjusted the shaders for Carrara, set up the light and replaced the tree with a Carrara tree as I thought it looked more realistic. As a final touch, I added a character - a close up of her next time!
Thanks for looking and for your feedback, which is most welcomed.

Marvelous scene and fantastic creation !
Fantastic :)
Excellent!
Hi Phil... initially the lighting looks good, but when I tried to find the character, I'd think there needs to be more ambient light for this time of day.
Looking goooood.
very good image
This is really a great render. Natural lighting, wonderful textures. Peaceful and lovely!
I like the play of light and shadow and the shaders work very well. An intriguing pose, too! Something about this image makes my brain see a miniature set. I wish I knew what so I could fix it in my own renders. (I've noticed Hollywood is using a radial blur on the outside edges of some shots (tilt-shift) and that makes a scene look tiny but I don't see that effect here at all...)
carrara trees look much more realistic than Vue trees...cool work.
don't use Carrara, but this render is an impressive argument for looking at it. I love the glass reflections and shadows, super work
Very beautiful and realistic. Provence is like that !
Great work. Lighting especially.
Beautiful render! Looks realistic with a touch of painting feeling to it. Great atmosphere to it.
Very nicely done. The most usual trees there are plane trees
I knew someone would pick me up on the type if tree - thanks for pointing it out!
great
Ah! The irresistible charm of the old France! A France where everything starts with a bitter argument and ends with a glass of wine and a song! Excellent render!
Superb composition and lighting. Elegant work, sir.
Beautiful scene.
Beautiful scene, great atmosphere!
A well created and excellently rendered scene
Very nice! Well done! :-)
