I'm sorry to 'palm' this photo off on you, but you have to 'hand' it to me.........medical science is amazing. It's a bit gruesome, but you have me 'fingered'...I also find it fascinating! Yes it's very much REAL.

On a serious note, I think it's amazing to see what is inside something we all use everyday. I'm not sure whether this needs a warning attached. Please tell me if it does. I have changed the 'thumbnail' just incase!

I think you should have led us in with a 'thumb nail' Handrew !!! In fact its quite handy to know the inner workings! I see hands a lot worse than this in the mortuary where I work.

Marvellous and very interesting! I used to enjoy looking inside the animal organs we used to feed the dogs with when I was a teenager. Dry dog food is a lot less interesting.
