The UNIC (United Nation Interstellar Command) is a joint space program by NASA, NATO and SCO, It was formed as part of the UN space exploration program (SEP) to explore the solar system for usable resources. Though after recent attacks on UNIC starbases by rebel fighters all UNIC forces have been put on full military alert. Rebal forces have publicly blame the UNIC for the death of more then 1000 refugees in the Black Monday incident. Where UNIC forces fired upon a civilian transporter which had veered off course, the UNIC believe that the transporter had been hijacked and was about to crash into the Capitol 1 space platform which the UNIC president was currently visting. Due to the extent of the damaged to the civilian transporter its unclear if the civilian transporter had been hijacked or not. Rebals say the civilian transporter had just lots its power system and drifted off course, Though without its flight recorder investigators are still unable to confirm it was due to power system failure or hijacking. Both side believe they are right.
