Description
A shot from the lake end along the shore. This old tree has had some mishaps it seems. It has bounced back to hold prime position in an exposed spot. I gave this IR a mono conversion to enhance its foliage glow.
The distant Larches on the shore must be in hundreds of my shots over the years. they are so photogenic from all angles and distances!

Excellent IR monotone Kev. Were there couples names carved into this tree, it looks the type to have them.
Beautiful!
It seems to incline most gracefully toward the water; what a lovely shape! Great shot!
I do like this, it is a very striking image.
fantastic IR world
Your recent photographs really do make me feel I'm in another world - a very beautiful one though, and hypnotic - they draw me right in. I am glad the old tree stands.
