There's a problem with the light in this picture, so I guess. Their clothes seem to glow while the walls' bumpieness looks a bit strong in my view.
The white dress especially glows, you're quite right. I'm not really sure why, I'm still just beginning to scratch the surface of the reality3/Lux combo. Sometimes, the Velvet setting makes great clothes, other times.. not so much :)
