Description
These Australian Fur seals are brought here with injuries that range from cuts from outboard motors, to encounters with Great White sharks. Those that can be fully rehabilitated are returned to the wild. The seal in the photo had fully recovered, and was enjoying it's time in the wave pool before being released! Those that can't become permanent residents of the huge seal habitat at The Melbourne Zoo!
