Description
Just back from a couple of days on the Oregon coast. Very windy the day we got there, but very calm the next day & temperature in the 70's. Did some hiking in the sand dunes, visited Cape Blanco State Park & Lighthouse & enjoyed one the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen on Saturday night.

There are many reasons to like this but today I focus on the color. Most striking of course is the dramatic contrast of cold blue and hot red with white to offset both. There is a lovely tonal grade of blue with three distinct zones from bottom to top. The very strong horizontal lines give an appropriate feeling of relaxed peacefulness.

I love the unusual shape of Coquille. We spent a lovely two days there at Bullards Beach, and left Friday morning. We didn't go to the south jetty, but have been there before, so this view is familiar! I love your postwork on this. The clean lines of the lighthouse really jump out. Fabulous!
