Description
I went to Navratri celebrations last night, and it was very LOUD but i'm glad I went.
The constant movement and and low light is hard for my Tizzie, so I have 70 blurred pics!
The children were a delight,
These two are preparing to dance a form of Dandiya Raas see some fascinating info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandiya_Raas

Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
They are so cute great shot girl.
her face seems to radiate enjoyment, good capture
I would have love this event for the Sarees (spelling) alone, I can imagine the sheer riot of colour. And I think you did rather well considering the light levels and a compact.
Cool capture of these two, they look so excited!
Wonderful and fun capture
Lovely & colourful, glad you enjoyed!!
So cute the little girs are. Bet they had a great time :)
Cute. Aloha
Lovely image! :)
Your reliable Tizzy, pushed to its limits, managed to capture a very nice shot of these tots as they prepare for some kind of Hindu performance.
They're delightful, and clearly enjoying the event! I'd love to see more, even if a bit on the blurry side.
cool shot
A cute photo of the little girls and an informative link!
They are adorable but are you sure they are not playing at Star Wars? Thank you for the link. Some fascinating information. This is a festival that celebrates Durga, the Goddess of Victory over Evil. We could certainly use her help these days.
Lovely picture looks like they are practising to be water diviners. Looking at the tizzie settings couldn't you have increased the ISO to 800 or possibly 1200, this would give you a bit more speed or aperture.
