Wow! An alien fruit for sure, looks like it could grab your face! An excellent shot! The one you sent me has grown very well, but no fruit yet, maybe next year.
fascinating !
Interesting fruit!!
AMAZING !
I've not come across these. Nice shot Andrea.
New to me too. I like the shape of these Andrea.
WOW Fantastic fruits and so very beautiful. Dont think i have seen such before.
What a artistic fruit and photo of it, Andrea. I wonder if they are healthy to eat.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
I think that if I saw this fruit on my plate, I would question the sanity of the server not to mention the motives! Great captures
I'm with Mike. Excellent capture of some very strange fruit. After seeing the one on the left I love that you thought the flickr image was the scary one.
A top notch pic of the mauve colored Akebia, Andrea, but they seem so suggestive of the alien visitors from the movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
I love the flowers, but I've never seen the fruit matured and open like this...WOW! Cool capture!
They're beautiful! Such a creamy color with those dark seeds ... lovely!
It does indeed look like best contender at this time for alien fruit.. you eat it and turn into some fruity beast.. running amok ravishing innocent women laying in their gardens (chuckle). A fine capture there with nice detail of an unusual fruit, I'm sure it could be dressed up to look better to eat yet I suspect it may taste better than it looks. Often those that look good to eat and are juicy are the one's that can be the most poisonous.... Belladonna for afters anyone?. :-(
Looks slightly rude, nice shot .
I love the scary version Andrea but this version in also a bit alien and I like that too!
Impressive. Never seen before
