Description

Last Saturday, we had an all day rain. Got a total of just over 5 inches. That added 3 foot of water to the pond. It really needed it as did all the vegetation. The next day was a mix of sun and clouds but in the late afternoon, a five minute heavy shower fell just before sunset and then the sun popped out again. I decided to have another go at photographing sunsets and thought I might see a good one because of the scattered storm clouds, so I returned to the lake campground that is just 3 miles from my house. I arrived just in time and got lucky and managed to capture the scene. So here is an image of dragonflies soaring in a rising mist and all under a flaming mark of Zorro in the sky, lol.
