Description
Every night we have raccoons that come to the squirrel/bird feeders for dinner. I know a lot of people consider them to be pests but we don't mind them coming for dinner, they have to eat too. :)
We also have flying squirrels that come at night (when the raccoons aren't around), but they're way too fast for me, and barely bigger than a hamster. I've yet to get a photo of one.

A very cool photo.
I suppose they can be a real pest but since they do not bother me I rather like them. Saw a whole family of them out for the evening in Vancouver last week.
Beautiful photo, hun!
love it.
Awesome shot!
Fantastic capture! I would love racoons in my back yard!

OMG!! you're so lucky!! i would love to see one in real, we don't have them in France :( Beaytiful picture!
Excellent shot!
wonderful shot, Trish. so cute.. hope you capture a pic of them flying ones.
Cool pic
Just super photo sweetheart. I guess they're a little like Badgers in the UK which are part of the woodland but people encroach and then leave food waste where it can be got at by the Badgers and then they complain. Just not fair. Love and hugs, Janet
Great shot!
oO super cute
They're cute, but can be pests also - one did some damage to my garage a couple of years back trying to claw his way in. We tried to trap him in a live trap, but captured two foxes (who we released, of course) instead. Nice shot, but I actually liked the close crop in your thumbnail even better...
Beautiful image.
Great work!
A great shot with lots of clear detail
Gorgeous Shot!!
Beautiful animal... Aloha
Very nice raccoons !!! Fantastic photo Trish!!!
Wonderful capture! Not only it is a sup'erb subject, but you have a perfect photo here! We haven't raccoons in Italy, and I'd really prefer that our pests could be like this one!
They are so cute it is hard to think of them as pest but they can be quite mean I had one attack me one time. So be careful great shot
Very nice.
