Description
I was driving in the back of beyond, nothing but fields and meadows for miles around, and there they stood, almost glowing in the early morning light.
Don't know why the farmers didn't cut them down, but thanks for that!

One easily relates to their nervousness at the prospect of some imminent demise at the hands of a framer and a chain saw. They seem to clutch each other as might young children suddenly aware they are alone on some vast beach, very poignant.
