Cajun band straight from the movie, Southern Comfort. The only problem I'm having with Renderosity is no ebots on other member's postings for weeks already.

Jock, I've been commenting in your gallery for an hour now, and unfortunately I have to go do errands, go to the bank, etc. But I'll be back for more later, or tonight, or in the morning. There are many other pieces by you that are "calling out" to me. I stop with this image for now, first because I wanted to do one of your photographs this morning; and secondly, because this is a very special image. A lot of photographers take shots of musicians who look glamorous, or overly dramatic. But the reality of music-making is that it's a very "absorbing" art, musicians are deeply inside themselves when they make music---and you totally captured that feeling, here. The musicians aren't "putting on airs," also they're not trying to look rapturous or 'possessed': They're simply playing, and their faces and postures show that totally, here. The blind musician has a beauty all his own---he's deeply absorbed in the music. Finally, the setting is very simple and real, and the picture doesn't glamorize any of that: This is what musicians look like when they're playing for the sake of playing. It's a touching photo, and I appreciate how well you understand musicians of every kind. You capture them beautifully, and with truth. I'll be back for more, in the next day or so. It's always terrific to come back here---I have a lot to learn from you.
