Description
I remember the house that has just been demolished being built.
It was in an inappropriate style for my road, looking a bit faux Spanish with an extension on the top flat that looked like a shipping container.
The plans for the new build look wonderful! It will look like a family house but will be 7 flats.
The ladies at the rest home that I visit next door are following the development with interest!

if pictures could speak, this one would be angry, grrr, keep out
It is always interesting to watch something to be built...follow its progress. Please open the gate and let me in :) Aloha
Nice shot!
cool looking lock
What a fascinating shot; I love how the reality shifts into 2D and back again in the most unexpected ways... well done!
Probably afraid that something is stolen. A superb shot.
A super 'low key' image Andrea!!
Superb pic.
A brand new padlock for once :-) Excellent shot and filterwork :)
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
That looks like a fairly new lock!!!
I remember that place, it did look out of place, who ever heard of a hacienda in Bournemouth? LOL! Be a great idea to follow the development as it grows on a tizzy?
Alone from night to night you'll find me, too weak to break the chains that bind me... A superfluous surfeit of chain most apparent in this splendid macro, Andrea.
Ray Charles' version of "Unchain My Heart" came to mind as number 30 padlock popped up on my screen. That is a lot of chain for that little bit of security requirements!
I suppose a very silly thief would cut four links to get in there. :P
"Chains! My baby's got me locked up in chains." (Beatles version) I agree, that's a lot of chain. A good pair of bolt cutters would take care of it. I used to appraise new buildings and it is amazing how many nicely designed houses are screwed up by the finishing.
Someone's got shares in a chain making company, I wonder If you can lift the gates off at the hinges.
... and there is a superb padlock! well done with post work! love it!
