Description

This is one of my favorite insects to photograph. They are easier to find than many insects because they make a lot of noise as they fly. They are pretty easy to get close to. They often are eating some prey. They come in several varieties and they are quite striking in appearance. Look closely at this one and you can see the pink iridescence on the wings of some tiny insect he is consuming. My thanks to those who have taken the time to comment on previous posts.
