Description
This is a small lake in Custer State Park - the name escapes me at the moment... But this has to be the best water reflection I've ever photographed in my life! I just couldn't believe how still and mirror-like the surface was.
Oddly, within 15 minutes, the surface began to change, and have all the ripples and surface disturbances one usually sees on a body of water. For once, my timing was perfect!

Patience is said to be a virtue of good photography but I often find that good old dumb luck is a significant driving force. Plus the smarts to be able to quickly realize you need to be shooting right now and not saying, oh I will get it later.
