Smooth holes in the rock formed by eddies in the water.
After checking the weather for miles around, we drove down a road that crossed a dry wash several times. It was great to see the erosion patterns close up!

I love how water does this; LOL @ checking the weather repeatedly, but I know how fast it can become a flash flood. You wouldn't think it, looking at the landscape, would you? Wonderful shot!

This is just so cool, Tara! The swirls and patterns in those rocks really illustrate the power of water over many years. A lovely photo, and the B&W is perfect for this! 2 nights and counting....... :-P
