Well Mark, while I truly enjoyed the first two lovely uploads you shared with us that you did indeed save the best for last. This one is astounding in every detail, and really does have it all. I'm not certain where to begin as the playful splashing of the water is wonderful, but I also love the way the light radiates and reflects off the water here. Strangely enough what I like most about this capture is something that most people will overlook. That is the beautiful birds flying in the distance, that set off the image perfectly. I know that over seven million birds pass over the Chicago area each year, and that is why I associate them with Chicago. I've even heard a saying that sooner or later every bird shows up there.

Looks like an abstract painting, Mark.The spray looks like metallic particles that have been thrown upon the canvas.They form a unifying element in the composition, as the particles extend into the sky, and as reflections in the ater.

My favorite of these three. Wow. That is absolutely spectacular. I love the way the bulkhead, with its crenelations (are they crenelations when they're standing on edge like that?), creates a place for waves to form these wonderful patterns. Gorgeous image!

This is indeed the grand and golden finale of your trio of color images. I see music in this one, in the crescendo of dancing waves, calm harmonies in the reflections, and streams beaming from the star-like sun, casting everything in a glorious melody of spirit light. Really beautiful image, Mark.

Merci pour ce magnifique cliché. Le couché de soleil donne tout sa palette de couleurs sur les vagues qui ressemblent à des jets de fontaines lorsqu'elles se brisent sur la rive. J'ai encore beaucoup à apprendre lorsque je vois toutes ces photos, surtout au niveau technique et maîtrise de la photo (prise de vue, cadrage, lumière etc...)
