Bedankt. Die mijnheer Owens heeft ca. 15 jaar geleden een kleine 5000 (je leest het goed) Chebechev formules geschreven voor Fractint. Nu biedt UltraFractal, in feite de opvolger van FractInt, de faciliteit om ook Fractint frm formules toe te passen, ondanks dat de opzet enigszins verschilt. Maar UltraFractal biedt veel meer mogelijkheden, waar Owens uiteraard nog geen gebruik van kon maken. Mijn huidig werk is weinig creatief, ik ben bezig om oude wijn in nieuwe zakken te vullen. De verzameling van Owens, alhoewel Janet Parke die wel vermeldt (in: http://www.parkenet.org/jp/ufresources.html) leidt al die jaren een sluimerend bestaan, ik heb althans nog nooit iets in UF gezien dat er mee is gemaakt. Mijn bescheiden taak zie ik als het uit haar slaap wekken van Doornroosje. Het kan in UF allemaal veel compacter en bovendien zijn er allerlei parameters aan toe te voegen, Iets wat destijds nog niet mogelijk was, althans heel beperkt. Ik hoop nog eens in contact met Owens te kunnen komen om zijn toestemming tot publicatie te krijgen, er rust namelijk copyright op. Lukt dat niet dan moet het maar zonder, want al hebben we dezelfde uitgangspunten, de code is toch wel heel verschillend/

Fascinating curly-wurly design that really makes you wonder how it was created. Readers of H P Lovecraft might have thought this is a portrait of a shoggoth, an imaginary creature in Lovecraft's fiction. :) Thumbs up!
