Description
I have been pushing mud around all weekend on this. I don't feel I have it right yet. I have changed the colors and now feel it is too yellow. Real unhealthy skin color. She is supposed to stop by this week to see it. I am at a loss to a solution. I think I need to cool down the palette.
Oh well. Any comments or criticisms welcomed.

maybe you need to introduce some of the purple of the hair to the skin as well. really great expression, btw.
Thank you A_ I will try it. Maybe that's why I don't like it. I often use more green and blues in my flesh, but I didn't want the portrait to be somber. She is so full of life that I was afraid I would make her come across as another one of my walking dead. yoshi
I like it, the golden hues are like the light of the sun upon her lovely countenance, and the warmth matches the sparkly light of life in those bright eyes. You have composed a wonderful portrait and captured such a pretty smile :)
