Description
Spiff had picked him up two parsecs earlier. A tiny blip on his radar in the emission spectrum of a red giant.
It was a Kalibor pirate. A rare bird in these parts but one which had been attacking ships for weeks. This one was a class 7 warbird. A real trouble maker! There was a bounty on the head of this beast! 50,000 Dactarian credits!
Spiff had chased him now for almost two hours. Obviously the Kaliborian knew who was chasing him or he wouldn't have run so fiercely! The tyrant tried to escape on the surface of this Chlorine atmosphered rock! The insane speeds they had taken upon entry had burned out Spiffs enemy's shields!
They had made one final eye squashing 6 G turn coming over the ridge of this forsaken terrain when Spiff took another shot and it finally connected! One hit in the back quarter and Spiff knew he had his quarry. While the credits would be a nice sum in his pocket, the bragging rights back at headquarters (especially with ensign Hobbes) would be worth millions in Spiffs book!

Awesome stuff here my friend. These are just great. Thank you so much for posting these. Stan
Im surprised Hobbes wasn't there to jump Spiff's kill. Sneaky tigers....
Very dynamic - great style!
Excellent work.
Spaceman Spiff is one of my favorite characters from the newspaper genre. The vector motion blur also came out nice!
Great job!
