Thought I would contribute to the insect shots. This one is for Andrea, glad to see it identified as a species of crane fly, thanks for the comments.

good shot Im sure thats a crane fly though often called in England a daddy long legs. if you look behind the wings you can see a small stick like structure with a knob on the end these are used to help keep balance in flight sort of stabalisers
