Subtle and beautiful Alan. We have had several in ours too.
Amazing capture my friend. God bless.
Amazing capture, Alan. Hugs. Di. xx
The same here! A lovely pic.
Gorgeous creature, and a beautiful shot!
Amazing pic,
Excellent capture. Pretty butterfly.
We are lucky if we see a butterfly at all in London, even the humble common and cabbage whites are few and far between. Of course here there is a propensity to blame the developers of which I am a member of that club. I hate our disappearing green areas that are being raped by these individuals and their money making schemes and cash cows. When I was a child in my area, I'd spend hours in the garden studying these and red admirals, small and large torties blues fratillaries (Spelling) Green hairstreaks black vein whites etc etc etc Now as I say, lucky if you see a common. The one I captured last week was one I have spent the whole year thus far seeing. Such a shame to replace such beauty with architectural rubbish.
Lovely butterfly colors
