A wonderful historic gadget!
This obviously does more jobs than one with a candle. Super instrument.
I have seen such but unless you mentioned as to what it is, I would not recall superb shot/subject
voilà un ciseau utile! was something for better families - other used the fingers.. beautiful mouchette and picture of it!
Les vieux objets étaient fabriqués pour être utiles, mais aussi pour être beaux... Belle photo!
Beautiful instrument Nice shot!!!!
Not sure just how this would put out a candle, but it would trim a wick and dig out a broken wick.
WOW that's a great find.
Great still life.
You have a great piece of history here my friend. :)) I love candles in the fall and winter. :)))) Most excellent capture my friend. :)))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Sunshine Smile In Your Heart :))))
My grandmother had a silver snuffer, and I hadn't thought of it in years until I saw this and read your caption. It's a treat to see this beautiful tool, and to remember the very different one from my childhood. :)
Never heard of this i just blow them out lol great capture of it.
Les interrupteurs d'autrefois avaient quand même plus de gueule. J'ai encore une poêle à torréfier. Si je n'y avais pas trouvé du café je n'aurais jamais su ce que c'est.
Wonderful shot! It's probably worth some money these days, but it's a beautiful thing I wouldn't part with...nicely done!
Bel objet ancien, superbe photo !
Wonderful item and capture, Mooch. Hugs. Di. xx

I like the design and an excellent photo!
