Great shot, but it gives me the chills :)
Patience was rewarded for both you and the arachnid!
OH wow, this is just fantastic--what amazing clarity, detail and color!!
Amazing capture Andrea. God bless.
a marvellous capture and an instant favourite for me
bonne photo!
Great macro..details quite amazing
Wow great macro picture and Patience was rewarded !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow these spiders are so beautiful would be hard to be scared of them great shot girl.
Very impressive capture on her part as well as yours!
With our declining bee population, I don't like seeing this. but on the other hand, the spider didn't ask for its dietary behaviour. Nature is a wonder and a cruelty. Fantastic shot though Andrea.
Excellent pic.
What a wonderful capture! But I do feel sorry for the poor bee. Excellent shot!
Impressive capture. Beautifully done
Great details and colours! Wonderful capture! :)
Mighty impressive shot, Bee 0-1 Spider, quite a dramatic moment to be able to capture. No win situation for the bee... if it stings it dies and if it doesn't it dies.
Amazing and horrible. Perfect capture.
This is an phenomenal photo Andrea and I am amazed that she has anchored herself well enough that the weight of the bee did not drop her to the ground!!!!
That poor bee. And I thought my job sucked. Life and death drama in miniature. Outstanding image.
GREAT SHOT
Egad, I bet that poor bee, going about its daily pollinating chores, never knew what hit it; furtively ambushed amidst the pretty flowers. You would think that the Crab Spider, perhaps aware of the dire fate of honey bees worldwide, would have been a bit more selective in its choice of prey.
A great photograph of this moment in nature's drama.
so lovely and cool pov
A superlative photo Andrea! What a meal, that would be like me ordering 800 cheeseburgers! Hmmm, now I feel hungry...
A superb capture in more ways than one Andrea. Both are excellent shots.
Awe poor bee b ut the spider has to eat!!
Its amazing she could overpower something so big.
Wonderful!!! :-)))
