Excellent image Like the dark background Hugs Susan
Wonderful concept with this capture, love the shadow upon the leaf, clever thinking.
Life in the shadows waiting to emerge! Great concept shot!
Nicely caught Andrea.
What a great mood and title, Andrea. His shadow moves forward to what is to come, which you may rejoice. The taste of the shadow already in your mouth patience, patience, and then WOW the smell and fruits they can not hide and you are more than satisfied. :D

WONDERFUL IMAGE
wonderful looking
Very nice!
Outstanding composition of stark contrast, clarity and texture in this winner, A.
Wonderful shadow play on this. Gestating blackberries?
This is brilliant! I knew exactly what it was without help, and can tell what color the berries are from the size of the shadows. (Some flowers left, some already small green berries.) We have so many here that they must be part of my internal landscape. Fantastic photograph!
Nicely done! As Tara said, we're neck-deep in them around here. I have them sprouting up in my garden, even though there aren't any stands of them close enough to be responsible. I think the whole of the Pacific Northwest is one large mat of blackberries under the soil, and while they might be cut back in spots if left alone the whole area would soon be one big bramble!
Cool image!
Nice light and shadow composition. Very well done
I love blackberries! I love hot blackberry cobbler with just a bit of ice cream. The hot and cold together and the delicious blackberries, Of course, they are good right off the bush too. I joined the Ramblers' Association when I was in England, and I can remember one walk that went very slowly. The road was bordered by blackberry bushes that were full of berries. Beautiful capture! Wonderful light and shadows.
Great shadow shot.
