I know... a little outside the square for me... just wanted to see how Octane performed on non babe scenes.

oh and btw...
For all of you who dont know what the kessel run is, it is a pathway from planet Kessel past the Maw Black Hole Cluster used by smugglers to transport precious glitterstim spice.
When he says that he made the run in less than 12 parsecs, it could mean that he just flew that much closer to a black hole and made the actual distance that he had to go shorter, because one comment that was made in the movie was that going into hyperspace isnt just a walk in the park, without precise calculations, you could fly right into a star.
So, in the star wars universe, since one cant travel to their destination in a straight line, they have to navigate around different spacial objects, the "fastest" ship is the one that can plot the "most direct course", thereby traveling the least distance.
sooooooo....
thats how you make the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs

Not bad at all!
Seems to work well!! :-) Very nice scene!
Nice render but, as you know "Parcecs" is a measurement of distance, not speed. Just a small fact commonly overlooked. :)
What? No babe?? Ok I'm joking (even if I prefer when there's a babe;) You made another great render!!!
LOVE this!!
Maybe there's a babe in the cockpit, you just can't see her? Great render and thanks for the astrophysics too!
someone doesnt know what the Kessel run is ...?????????????????????????????????? OMG great work :)
great
Alright...but tomorrow I wanna see a babe showing off her...ummm..lightsaber. K?
Great scene!!!!!!
Fantastic ship, love the info, outstanding work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from the planet Nazi-boo?...;) remember phrase from Star Wars original, laughed then. Great texture-making.
AWESOME!!
Brilliant
Nice tutorial on that Star Wars quote. It always seemed a little odd to me, providing a distance instead of a time.
Cool idea.
