Description
Down the road from Shoshone Falls was a parking lot that gave access to a lake. This was far more interesting than seeing the lake! Water carved this stone, swirling and grinding bit by bit. I thought it looked like a wide-canopied tree. Later I saw a sort of long-nosed critter of dubious pedigree. What do you see?

Amazing what nature can do. The first thing I thought was that it looked like a tree. the rocks surrounding it look like rusted metal that the tree is trying to escape. Excellent capture!

The tree is evident, and I can see a number of faces in there, one being at the base of the tree trunk where a single line details the brow with a nose and mouth in an abstract manner, just above the tufts of grass. Anyone catch the tortoise or turtle head with it's mouth open on the right?. Nature can be very creative and so can you in capturing this so well.

Very cool image. If we take away the reference points this could very well be a gigantic rock formation large enough for people to live in. Think Mesa Verde, Colorado.

I see lots of faces including Oscar the Grouch below and to the left of the tree and a smiling crocodile in the bottom right corner. I see Oblio's pointed cap, a yin-yang symbol without the dots, a mitten, and definitely the tree. What a great sculptor water is. Beautiful and fun shot!
